Your desktop. Your business.
Tidy Screen is a local utility. Your window arrangement belongs on your Mac.
Effective October 2, 2026
The Mac app
Tidy Screen does not collect personal data, include analytics or advertising SDKs, track you, or require an account. The app does not send data to a server. Settings, saved layouts, and keyboard shortcuts stay on your Mac. Exported settings are saved only where you choose.
Accessibility access
macOS Accessibility permission lets Tidy Screen identify the focused window and read and change its position and size. Window information is used locally to arrange windows and undo recent moves. Tidy Screen does not record your screen or upload window information. You can revoke access at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
This website
The website uses no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or application cookies. The interactive demo runs in your browser without accessing your Mac’s windows. Our hosting provider, Google Firebase Hosting, processes normal request information such as IP addresses and browser information to deliver and protect the site. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
When you contact support
If you email support@tidyscreen.app, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond and troubleshoot. Email is handled through our email providers. Please do not send passwords or sensitive documents. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence.
Your choices
You can export or remove your app settings, revoke Accessibility access, or uninstall the app. No account or server-side app profile needs to be deleted. For privacy questions or requests about support correspondence, contact support@tidyscreen.app.
Changes
We’ll update this page and its effective date if Tidy Screen’s data practices change.
